By using KittyType, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

2. License Agreement

KittyType is proprietary software. All rights are reserved by KittyType LLC.

• Unauthorized copying or distribution is prohibited
• You may not modify, decompile, or reverse engineer the software
• Your subscription grants you a limited license to use the service

3. Intellectual Property

All content and code associated with KittyType is protected by copyright law.

• The KittyType name and logo are trademarks
• All rights are reserved unless explicitly stated otherwise
• User-generated content remains the property of the user

4. Subscription Terms

Refund Policy

• All subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis
• We do not provide refunds for partial months or unused subscription time
• Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the initial charge to billing@kittytype.com
• If you're charged in error or experience significant service issues, contact billing@kittytype.com
• Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis
• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
• We will respond to all refund requests within 5 business days
• Approved refunds will be processed as soon as possible after approval

Cancellation Policy

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard
• Upon cancellation, you'll retain access until the end of your current billing period
• No partial refunds are provided for cancelled subscriptions
• You can reactivate your subscription at any time after cancellation
• Trial periods cannot be reactivated after cancellation

Dispute Resolution Process

• For billing disputes:
  1. Contact billing@kittytype.com with details of your dispute
  2. Include your account email and relevant transaction information
  3. Our team aims to respond promptly to all billing inquiries
• For service-related disputes:
  1. Contact support@kittytype.com with details of the issue
  2. Include relevant timestamps and error messages if applicable
  3. Our team will investigate your issue as quickly as possible
  4. We strive to provide regular updates throughout the resolution process
• If a dispute cannot be resolved directly:
  1. The dispute will be handled through arbitration as specified in our terms
  2. Arbitration will be conducted in Michigan
  3. Each party will bear their own costs of arbitration
  4. We will work diligently to resolve all disputes in a fair and timely manner

5. Usage Guidelines

• Fair use policies apply to all accounts
• Service may not be used for illegal purposes
• Users must not circumvent rate limits or restrictions

6. Service Availability

While we strive for 100% uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

• Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance
• Emergency maintenance may occur without notice
• No service level agreement (SLA) is provided

7. Limitation of Liability

KittyType is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

• We are not liable for any damages arising from service use
• Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for service
• Users are responsible for their own data backup

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate service for:

• Violation of these terms
• Fraudulent activity
• Non-payment
• Abuse of service resources

9. Dispute Resolution

1. Initial Contact:
   • Billing disputes: billing@kittytype.com
   • Service disputes: support@kittytype.com
   • Response time: within 5 business days
2. Required Information:
   • Discord username
   • Transaction ID or date
   • Detailed description of issue
   • Any relevant error messages or screenshots
3. Resolution Timeline:
   • Initial review: up to 7 business days
   • Investigation period: up to 30 business days
   • Resolution implementation: up to 10 business days after decision
4. Appeal Process:
   • Appeals must be submitted within 60 days of initial resolution
   • Send appeals to legal@kittytype.com
   • Include all previous correspondence and new information
   • Final decision will be made within 30 business days

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

12. Export Compliance

KittyType software and services are subject to export control laws:

• Users must comply with all applicable export control laws
• The service may not be used in countries subject to U.S. embargo
• Users certify they are not on any U.S. government prohibited persons list
• Software may not be exported/re-exported to restricted countries

13. Free Trial Terms and Promotions

KittyType offers a 30-day free trial period for new users:

• Trial period begins upon account creation
• One free trial period per user/email address
• Trial provides full access to all features
• No credit card required during trial
• Trial automatically expires after 30 days
• Users must upgrade to a paid plan to continue service after trial
• Trial periods cannot be extended or reactivated

Promotional Offers

• Promotional rates or discounts may be offered periodically
• Promotions are subject to specific terms disclosed at time of offer
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue promotions
• Promotional rates will revert to standard pricing after promotional period
• Users will be notified before any promotional rate changes
